Ayin

Ayin is our sixteenth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and Hieroglyph of The Tarot. Ayin is associated with the planet Mars and The Tower card of the Tarot. In the scheme of the Tetragrammaton Ayin is positive in nature. Ayin is activity, material tie or bond, a connection in a state of tension. Ayin is an extreme positive in the development of contact with Higher Self as it requires the recognition of where the tensions are coming from and a balancing to occur.

Samech

Samech is our fifteenth letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and therefore our fifteenth Hieroglyph of The Tarot. Before reading on below, let us try something. Close your eyes and draw a Samech in your minds eye, similarly to Reiki. You are tapping into an ancient symbol, feel its vibration. You might even make a hissing sound of a snake, SSSSSSSSSS. Blessed journeys.

Samech is associated with Capricorn and the Devil in the Tarot. Samech is an Arrow but not like the arrow of 7th arcana, here the arrow is flying around the circumference of a circle. The circle is double edged. Samech is a strength to succeed. This card is a primary in the initiatory process as it requires the ego to balance to the point that there can be no harm to self or to others in the continuing pursuit to enlightenment in the process of becoming adept.
