The (nearly) Ripe Tomato

Here's aphoto of the ripest tomato in the garden. This morning, I went outside for a breath of fresh air, looked at the tomato that is half red (side facing sun) and half green (the other side) and got a sinking sensation. Of course, I am anxiously awaiting tasting this first (perhaps only) heirloom beauty. Knowing Cougina's impatience, I know he can barely wait to pick it. So, I requested, that he please, oh, please, wait till the tomato is ripe to pick it. He took a photo to help you visualize our conflict, and you can see that only the ripe side is visible. Sigh... Our landlord, Abraham, thinks it's great that I want to wait. That means he will be able to steal it away a day early...

TZADDI THE MOON: COVINA HERMETICIA SNEAK PEAK

Hieroglyph: Tzaddi
Roman: X

Tarot Card: Moon

Astrological Symbol: Pisces
Meaning: Duality, roof, oppressing. Considered by most to represent the most negative card in the deck, but, as a positive, it represents a fecundation and new beginning: a pregnancy of possibilities (dualities) that could be used to achieve that final balance and allow an individual to center to the point that they actually achieve their extrasensory ability.

UH OH! Gotcha now! I once had a lady friend who had these wonderful perky little breasts, and she happened to be Jewish, and within the ability of the feminine concept, interested in true cabala. It took us weeks to name those two entities. We ended up with Mem and Tzaddi, and spent so much time trying to decide which was the left or right, the active or passive, that I finally managed to sodomize this lovely lady.

The above will be appearing on the subscription blog, Covina Hermiticia, soon.  If you are interested in this type of metaphysical commentary, you should check it out. Email covinahermiticia@att.net, or contact Cougina or Aggie (contact info at the top of this page).

THE PLANETARY AURA

First of all, let me be perfectly clear that this is my interpretation of the thoughts and feelings of my community, not necessarily representative of consensus at all points. The planet is a living thing. Even in order to think, one must think that humanity would be the most evolved orgasm on the planet. Now, just to give you an example, I had to stop and think. After that last big O, because my partner's consciousness went one way, and mine went the other. That's why life consciousness is not organic but an orgasm. Believe me that rock or that mountain lives as really as that tree. The planet itself has an auric being that I refer to as Douani. In many ancient cultures, various spellings of this living concept of the planet have existed and manifested. They really are all the same. The planet equates to your expression (human, that is) of love. A truly caring and benevolent entity that, from an egotistical point of view, is here to do nothing more than to support you.

Now comes the hard part. That perception is entirely true. The planet is here for you. However, somehow, in the last hundred years or so, we seem to have lost respect for our support system. We carve large chunks out of her, and carry her to various places in order to change her to suit our purpose. Buildings, bridges, highways. Drill holes in her, and suck her vital fluids, change them, refine them, abuse them, and eventually use them to infect her very atmosphere, her very process of breath.

DOUANI, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING SO PATIENT AND PUTTING UP WITH US FOR SO VERY LONG. Please, from this point forward, allow us to accept some responsibility for our actions. Be patient with us, and allow us to find solutions or at least apologize for the pain and discomfort we have caused you. Please, oh please, allow us to assist you in reestablishing that beautiful white light of health that maintains us in our ignorance and assists us in our evolutionary development toward balance.

OH MOTHER WHO SUSTAINS ME, PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

Our First Real Arts and Crafts Show

Trinity Monastery Festival of the Arts was a disappointing show, in the sense that we sold barely enough to cover our expenses getting there.

Of course, there were positives.  We slept in Augustina, our van, in the driveway of Cougina's friends, Jim and Debbie. Cougina doesn't call many people "friend," so it was interesting to meet two people who had earned that title in the period immediately following his wife's death (a time when he was far more difficult to get along with than he is now, if you can imagine that, and drinking way more). Jim, an authentic Christian, was able to discuss his religious views, while allowing Cougina his paganism (although he worries for Cougina's soul).

The highlight of the show was musical entertainment. We got photos of one of the bands, who played Hawaiian music. It had been raining all day, meaning hardly any visitors or sales, and there were only a handful of people in front of the stage. The band members, particularly the keyboard player, were so happy, everyone cheered up. I wish that I knew the name of the band.

After a few songs, the dancers came out...

Followed by the children...

Followed by men recruited from the audience...
