I CHEATED///IN SCOTTSDALE

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM//LEFT TO RIGHT a nice horse ranch////the artillery mtns//a lone PALM in front of the aguila mtns//

THEN THE DISGUSTING ROADSIDE SITE OF TRASH AND I PASSED A LOT OF IT//what possesses some folks//then the aguila sign and then late yesterday Wickenburg//

I left Wenden early 1 to 2 % uphill 35 miles to Aguila//spent the night camped out in my little tent, left at daylight and 33 miles 26 uphill 4 to 5% and got to wickenburg late in the afternoon//

Started raining last nite and i woke up sort of wet///my little coffin tent not only WAS small it leaked so it is history//post pic of new one soon//

A friend of Rose and mine came by to help me and i called donna on the phone, and just took the ride early as i was not due in till wenesday//but i am here sore-wet-tired with all kind of complaints about the gear i chose//

It will all get worked out while i am here hopefully doing enough readings to afford the tuscon leg//no problem really but after tuscon the next leg is houston//absolutely nothing in between hopefully i can do a 100 miles a day by then and make it quick//or maybe i can cheat again and get a ride thru the desolate west texas part...

All is well new tent and sleeping bag//the down one was ruined in the rain//NO MORE DOWN

REPAIR AFTERFLOOD

HERE ARE PICS OF THE RAILROAD GUYS repairing all the track that actually got washed out in the flood// the damage in this little town was really extensive//lots of homes and most businesses damaged badly..

Sorry bout the spelling yesterday but only had connection for 10 minutes/no time for spell check I may start back on the road laterthis morning//I hate to without Bailey but she has obviously been picked up by someone she is a real people dog........let you know in next post

FINALLY N GREEN/POLITAL AND SPIRITUAL

WE HAVE FINALLY RUN INTO WHAT THIS BLOG IS ALL ABOUT//ALL OF THE ABOVE///

TODAY WHILE LOOKING FOR BAILEY/my benefactor Arny took me with him to deliver some stuff to his friends Earl & Barbara Smithout on county road 71E in LaPaz,County Az.//let me tell you you wnt green, you want humble, this is what we need///I am not saying you neeed to live like this, but, I am saying that they deserve to do so///

Earl has had several strokes, they live on 10 acres in the middle of nowhere, Barbara is an LPN who works 5 days a week in Phoenix....Great folks loving, kind, broke and non-invasive....

So some wealthy guy buys 100's of acres next to them {they have been there 12 years} has his place resurveyed and get to shut off their right of way//noyte a road bnuilt in the late 1800's should be grandfathered in to say the least//he wins//the judge says he cannot offend him//the supervisor is obviously afraid of him//HE DOES NOT EVEN LIVE THERE// they do.....So how does County Gov't. handle it//////

They leave them stranded, that part has been partially worked out, but the flood of jan 21 destroyed the new road and it got repaired today///for 4 weeks Barbara had to make excuses at work, now the fella maybe 250 lbs. is accusing this woman close to 60 of assulting him with her truck when it can be proven it waS IN THE SHOP.....

NICE TO BE WEALTHY AND IN CONTROL I GUESS///are you not tired of this shit6...

NO BAILEY YET//

But got a bit of time so let me show you some pics//first is arny the fella helping me find the dog and putting me up in Wenden/

Got here yesterday and he has been helping a lot not counting putting me up in this camper thingy. Rode 38 miles half uphill and then bailey escaped, so to speak, think we found who has her but no return phone call yet.......

Sorry bout that above Arny is my favorite waitress in Quartzsite, then the sign leaving HOPE Az. and then the sign for the begining of hwy 60 where i left from..

It was and eventful first day, downhill for 14 miles uphill for 17 and then flat for 7 untill i got here////about at the begining of the flat bailey decided to chase rabbits//bad move, got her back got here and rabbits again instead of coming home she headed back to Quartzsite,and got picked up at a little country store where i stopped for a gatorade type drink,,got the number of the fella but no return call yet........................./HE SAYS I AM EARNING MY KEEP BECAUSE OF MY PERSONALITY////hahaha

Anyway no dog yet spend another day if necessary,she is all i have left//

I got some nice pics of the repairs they are doing to the train tracks in this little town that got destroyed in this flash flood on jan 21this year///lots of nice folks......Send out the pics in the a.m. if can hook up again///otherwise later.......

HEY GUYS//38 MILES YESTERDAY//just got a few minutes, so no pics till later//bailey took of after a rabbit last nite and i am still looking for her but know who got her 7 miles back, guess she was heading to the coach, she does not like the trailer, but when he gets off work i will bet she is glad to see me//let you know tonite if i can get back on//GOT RUBBER LEGS TODAY ANYWAY//so a day off is not too bad
