1.There have been many good suggestions for how to clean up this oil. 2. We should not stop drilling for oil just because BP is stupid (or perhaps this was a planned ocurrance for the purpose of stopping oil drilling). 3. apparently all that Obama is willing to do is talk about this or appoint other people to talk about it. If he had a brain, or any intention of DOING something about it, he'd be down there ensuring that the coast is cleaned up. All he indicated in his press conference was that he didn't know what was the best way to handle it. I would suggest that ANY way would be a good place to start. All across America, for instance, there are piles and stacks of rotting hay from last year which could be picked up and taken to the soreline to absorb oil. It's not high-tech but it can be done and farmers would be more than happy to get the rotten hay out of their fields.
This, along with the failure to support the Federal law regarding illegal aliens (simply because Arizona wrote a duplicate law) demonstrates gross incompetence, in my opinion.
