With the Fool we associated THE ALL, our Higher Self. With the Magician comes the vehicle to houses and directs this Divine entity. The differences between the Fool and Magician are very subtle as both emanate from Kether and the crown Charka.
The Hebrew letter Beth corresponds to the Magician, in our BOTA system. Beth, pronounced 'bay'th' means The House. Beth is also the first letter of the book of Genesis and therefore the beginning of creation in our physical Universe. The letter Beth is a also picture of you bending at a right angle. It is the 90 degree symbol of DAO and the first Reiki Symbol. It give a clue that one dimension is at a right angle to the next dimension.
Concentration and focus are some of the powers of the Magician. The garden he stands is is the subconscious mind. As a power of concentration I have used the vibration of Beth to great success. One of my favorite practices is to vibrate Beth while driving my car. Lord know when we drive our minds can wander all over the place. Its a great exercise to get you to focus on the present and give that wandering mind a rest. Vibrate the letter 'B' across your lips. Bbbbbbbbb and see what happens. This can totally assist you in focusing on that which is in your present reality.
