As we get closer to 12/21/2012, the Covina Hermiticia blog has developed, and is in the midst of presenting, an organized approach to developing individual communion with Higher SELF (God, Goddess, whatever you choose to call it), that first step in becoming a magus. We know that Hermetics appeals only to the few, yet also know that there are many more who would relish the counsel of a Hermetic high adept, but don't know where to find it.

Cougina has reinstituted a website similar to COUGINASPEAKS, the private social-networking site that was discontinued in 2010. COVINA HERMITICIA (Hermetic Covenant) will present a serious and explicit treatment of Hermetica, which (as you probably know) is and always has been controversial. This will be a very private site, and membership will be carefully screened. Violations of secrecy will result in banishment from the site, and possibly being “turned into a frog.”

We will try to post a minimum of three times per week. Some posts will be Agnes’s recording of Cougina’s ideas, and some posts will be videos of Cougina. The site will be similar to Facebook, in that each member will have a personal webpage, where comments and pictures can be posted, and private messages can be exchanged among members. We will discuss the entire realm of Hermetics, including the entire Corpus Hermetica, ritual and ceremonial magic, Kabalah, the Arcana, altar work, developing auric and telepathic abilities, the use of reflection and refraction in controlling your reality, and conceptual thought.

The Hermetic community has decided to make their presence known in this time, and teachings will be presented that have never been published. Note that most teachings will be directed to the Elohim, i.e., the yellow spirit bodies. If you are interested, send an email to couginamachek@aol.com. Why Aren't You a Telepath?

Telepathy per se really means universal consciousness. It is absolute surrender of self. While not total surrender to the whole, it is surrender of self to every other individual who has managed to totally surrender to his or her own SELF. 

Several well-known techniques may be used in order to try and show you, not only the validity, but also the practicality of the telepathic process, but one must be aware of the inhibiting factors to achieving telepathy (which goes hand in hand with your auric potential). One who judges violence certainly wouldn't want to see violence. One who judges self on any level certainly doesn't want anyone else to KNOW. If one questions anyone, one must be willing to present that. Adversely, one must ultimately also be willing to be questioned.

It is not an abstract space. It is a space you were born into. It is a space that you removed yourself from the first time you wanted your mother to change your diaper because you really just wanted to experience her love. You had just wet your pants a few moments before. Modern diapers are very comfortable, you just wanted her attention. But instead of being truthful and waiting until she had time to supply it, you decided to scream your ass off until she came and looked at you with love and surrendered to you, even though she was frustrated and busy. You have continued to exacerbate this problem in every way, whenever you did one thing to achieve another, for however many years you are old.

If you really wish to reverse this process, one way that we could help you is to take you back through that process. This is impractical, because it would take the equivalent in time of your present age, if we went through each individual circumstance. Our Hermetic program of development is capable of returning you to that original selfishness (little self) and working with you through that, to where you once again become HIGHER SELF.
If you're too busy doing your hair, entertaining your friends, or creating more judgements or issues, at best you could at least mark time and not remove yourself any further from your SELF. That really doesn't require a whole lot of attention. However, we can get you there in a few months, if you pay attention. EVERY TIME THAT YOU DO ONE THING OR ASK FOR SOME THING IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE A DIFFERENT THING, OR SOMETHING ELSE, YOU MOVE FURTHER AWAY FROM SELF. THE TRUE CONCEPT OF HERMETICS

The objective, my friends, is to actually wish that you remember this: Everyone says how disorganized I present this thing, so I'm about to organize your ass. Did you read this? Is the figure familiar? Or, perhaps you prefer this?


One of the most amazing things about this wonderful symbol over here is that there are 22 paths between 10 intelligences. Our job, if you will allow us, is to move your intelligence from Malkuth.

As a result of that, we must make you aware of the various pathways between the diverse intelligences. Unfortunately, even were you to offer me massive amounts of money, the journey to Kether is not for sale. It is something that happens within and without of self. All 22 pathways must be followed, and all 10 intelligences must be experienced.

And, them old Eastern bastards sure had it down. They called it karma. You gotta do the whole thing. They gave you a little break. They call that dharma. Sorta means it's your choice. But no matter how you cut the mustard, my friends, if you really want to play around with that concept of God, or Goddess, or any other form of universal consciousness, you will at some point experience all 10 of these intelligences, and you will approach each and every one of them from all 22 paths.

For your convenience, up on the right we have the tree inside the tree. One going one way, and another one going the other way. We are preparing, or about to, or any way your consciousness would prefer to deal with it, to approach the epiphany of self on SELF. Suddenly, the entire concept of masculine and feminine will be joined as Chokmah meets Binah, and we have been trying to teach you and assist you in understanding the rest of the separations and congruencies that exist in this wonderful mathematical and geometrical example of reality.
You can travel the world//You can investigate the universe//Been to Sedona?//Have you tried Christianity/Buddhism/ad infinitum or are you one of them new age motherfuckers that settle for Zen?

If you consciously follow any of the above, or any other truism, (OH) you're certainly aware of the concept that somehow we are all one. It does not matter whether you be good or bad, male or female, up or down, left or right, correct or incorrect, Republican or Democrat, Christian or Muslim. If you follow any one of those theosophies, you must accept that we are all one.
Picture One as one rubber band. For the last several thousand years, that rubber band has been pulling against itself, as we have been arguing and trying to decide which one is One.
If we really wish things to proceed without opposition, if we really do not want 12/21/12 to be a negative (recognizing that thoughts become things), perhaps // just maybe // perhaps it may be possible to just stop things from getting any worse by the simple expedient of not judging your neighbor or yourself. This, my friends, is the hermetic philosophy. We do not need Azatoth, the Druids, the Egyptians, or any other ancient concepts to assist us in understanding the need of acceptance to allow continuity as we make the change and pass judgments to future realities.
You have decided that you actually want to seek higher self. (I might mention that they're tracking us right now because we're constantly stealing their graphics.) So your concept of self/SELF, your ability to proceed in this time-spatial context, your willingness to investigate without judgement is your most powerful tool and our job is to assist you in that process.

So we're going to allow you a rough look at our thoughts. As we prepare these wonderful little tidbits of knowledge for you, these are the things we think of.



Is the cessation of separation. you ain't gotta stop being self ya just gotta stop....everything can be controlled and balanced at this point but if we keep judging and going further apart it will become untenable///so what if the asshole is wrong///it will not help to remind him at this point anymore than it will to insist that you are right///it is really more the time to force acceptance than the concept of balance//

SELFISHNESS

Cougina frequently talks to me about selfishness. He seems to alternatively portray selfishness as the most desirable and the most undesirable quality on the hermetic path. I hope that our discussion of selfishness will be helpful to you.

First, working definitions:

self - What is traditionally defined by depth psychology as the egoic identity, self identifies itself with the individual body/mind.

SELF - What is traditionally referred to as Higher Self, SELF identifies itself with the whole, including every other living being (human, plant, rock, etc.). Although all beings are not yet connected, SELF knows that this connection will happen eventually, and seeks to assist it.


self wills for the good of self, i.e., the individual body/mind, whether one’s own or that of another.

SELF always wills for the good of SELF, i.e., the whole, rather than for the good of the individual body/mind. This includes all individual body/minds, one’s own self, loved ones, strangers, etc. Those familiar with Jung will remember that he emphasized that SELF cannot be all good. This makes sense when one realizes that our concept of good/bad is traditionally viewed in terms of individuals.


Another definition:

greed - The unbalanced dominance of selfishness for the egoic self.

On the hermetic path, it is desired to balance selfishness, like all other oppositional concepts. That is, we desire a balance of self-directed selfishness and SELF-directed selfishness. When Cougina rails against selfishness, he is referring to greed. On the other hand, total SELF-directed selfishness is not desirable. We wouldn‘t be around to work for the whole for long. I remember Jung writing about a book that his SELF wanted written immediately. He told his SELF that he was taking a break from writing, because if he was dead the damned book certainly wasn’t going to get written.

Another definition:

pure self - The aspect of self that maintains balance between self and SELF.

The concept of pure self is similar to the observer concept with which many of us are familiar, with the caveat that pure self is an active decision maker as well as an impartial observer. It is this pure self that the hermetic cultivates, in order to maintain balance.
