VISION QUEST

ALSO IN THIS THE FIRST OF MANY I MUST CAUTION YOU THAT THE INGESTION OF PEYOTE IS NOT CONDONED BY ME FOR ANY REASON WITHOUT THE TYPE OF SUPERVISION I HAD ON THIS QUEST AND THAT ALL THE EXPIERENCE WAS WHILE UNDER THE EFFECTS OF THIS ALKALOID AND WHILE THEY WERE VERY REAL FOR MYSELF AND SHARED AMONG THE 8 OF US ON THE JOURNEY I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO TRY AND RECREATE THIS WONDERFUL WEEK OF TRANSFORMATION IN MY LIFE...

THE BEGINING
I was picked up by one of the apprentice shamans in Phoenix in the early morning hours around 7 am//and driven north for three hrs or so [I will not give physical locations] on arrival I entered the sweat lodge//a rather large affair soon to have 10 of us inside 9 men and 1 woman..The makeup of the group included Hopi, Zuni,Mayan,Navajo, Taoist,Sufi,Gypsy and an African sort of Witch Doctor is my best explanation//basically the best representation of indigenous peoples they could muster for the exercise.

During the sweat that basically lasted for the entire night we became familar with each other and began the ingestion of the tea//at first due to the differences in language it was very confusing for me and I dealth with interperting auras only to understand as much as possible and went thru all the expected responses to the tea but I must say that I did not throw up although I constantly felt like it for the entire 7 days///the benefit of the fast I guess.

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPIERENCE, I HAVE FINALLY REACHED CLOSE TO NORMAL CONSCIOUSNESS AFTER FIVE DAYS BUT I AM IN HOUSTON WITHOUT HAVING STOPPED IN SCOTTSDALE TO GET MY STUFF//NOW HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?//ACTUALLY ONE OF THE OTHER PARTICIPANTS HAD HER SON TAKE ME TO THE BUS AND SOMEHOW OUR COMMUNICATION WAS LACKING IN QUALITY DUE TO MY STATE OF MIND ND I STARTED TO GET IT TOGETHER ABOUT HALFWAY ACROSS TEXAS AND ENDED UP JUST INVADING TERRI'S SPACE//
TOMORROW TOM IS DRIVING ME BACK TO ARIZONA AND I WILL VISIT LUIS AND SOME CACTUS AND INTERGRATE ALL MY EXPIERENCES//

Than the World

Than is our twenty second and final letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and Hieroglyph of The Tarot. Than is associated with the Earth element and The Universe or World card of the Tarot. In the scheme of the Tetragrammaton Than is active in nature. Than as a hieroglyph is a breast. It is the all accepting (expecting) bosom. Than is the willingness to receive in the context of all reality, rather than the context of the sensory perception.

Like our World that contains everything within it we need, Than contains the previous twenty one Hieroglyphs within it. It is the four elements in balance. A completion of a spiritual vision quest!

Shin The Fool

Shin is our twenty first letter of the Hebrew Alphabet and Hieroglyph of The Tarot. Shin is associated the element of Air and The Fool card of the Tarot. In the scheme of the Tetragrammaton Shin is neutral in nature. Shin as a hieroglyph is a Arrow. In Gemantria Shin has a value of 300 and zero. The zero comes from the fact that Shin does not originate from any other arcanum.

Shin is an arrow in indefinite flight, undecided then incapable of following through on decision, beyond control of self, the a conceptualization of the means on how to follow through, and finally the implementation of them.

This card represents both the beginning and the end of the Tarot in the context of the study toward achieving total Unity with Self (body, mind and soul). It does not achieve it for you but it is used to describe the process of spiritual evolution in the relation to the little I self, and it literally travels through he rest of the Arcana to become itself again with the knowledge of purpose and means to achieve completion.

Hi All,

If you did not already know...Cougina is on a vision quest for the next ten days or so and asked if I would do some posting, so viola'.

I have s strong suspicion that now is a wonderful time to connect with Cougina's spirit. We will all be in his heart and mind during this time and we will find it easy to connect with him. Be it during mundane activities, meditation or dream time he will be there for us all. The Key to feeling this oneness is easy...Love of course. Get yourself into that unconditional love state and you will know of what I speak. I find it easy to get there by thinking of any of the dogs that have graced my life. See you out there.
